As is shown in the bar chart, the number of students going abroad increased constantly from 2011 to 2018, but its increase slowed down after 2015.
The increase in the number of students going abroad can be attributed to many factors. First, people’s improved living standard and the increased family income have laid an economic foundation. Second, parents attach great importance to education and they hope that their children can get the best educational resources around the world. Therefore, they try their best to send their children to study abroad.
In my opinion, the number of students going abroad will keep increasing in the following years but at a slower speed. Studying abroad indeed brings these students many benefits, like having their horizons broadened, mastering a foreign language and living independently. However, as our country develops and becomes stronger, people will view studying abroad rationally. Then, the speed will slow down.
